Hayley Tamaddon has shared an adorable selection of photos to celebrate her son, Jasper, on his second birthday.
The Emmerdale actress posted a video montage on Instagram, to commemorate two years with her “precious” son that she shares with her fiancé Adrian.
Behind instrumental uplifting music, Hayley has included a selection of pictures from the first day Jasper was born in the hospital to photoshoots in a denim jacket showing off his curls.
She also included snaps of the whole family as well as photos that captured what Hayley called his “funny, loving, cheeky, grumpy” sides.
The mother of one included text in the video that read: “Where does the time go? Mummy and daddy are so knackered… but you are so worth it… you have found your personality… you’re funny, loving, cheeky and grumpy… we couldn’t love you more if we tried… happy 2nd birthday jasper, love mummy and daddy.”
The star even gave the video its own credits and branded the video ‘Soraya Entertainment’.
She captioned the post: “Birthday boy!!! Today you are 2. And I have aged 20 years!! but god I’m so in love with you jasper.
“One day I’ll show you all these pictures and videos and you’ll say “stop it muuum”!! But I just want you to always know how much you are loved.
“It’s not easy being a parent… but god I’m so proud of you my little boy and proud of our little family.
“We love you to the moon and back our precious cheeky funny little boy.”
Hayley rose to fame as a soap actress playing Del Dingle in Emmerdale and Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street.
She also won the fifth series of Dancing on Ice in 2010 and played Calista in Shameless.
Hayley gave birth to Jasper in 2019 at the age of 42. At the time she said that he was her “miracle” baby and her pregnancy was “unexpected.”
Hayley sadly suffered a miscarriage before the birth of her son and doubted whether she would ever be able to conceive naturally.
“I’m 42 and you get to 40 and think, I think that’s it," she shared online. "I’ve read there’s only a five per cent chance after 40 per month of a woman getting pregnant and the risk of miscarriage increases massively.
“And sadly, we did go through that and what that taught me is I could get pregnant.
“[It made me think] I can do it. I got to 42 thinking it’s never going to happen.”
