Strictly host Claudia Winkleman’s first book Quite is released this week and she has given fans a sneak peek inside the cover on social media. The popular television presenter took to Instagram to post a picture of the first and last pages of the book, which true to form are hilarious.

On Monday, the mum-of-three, who shares children – Jake, 17, Matilda, 14, and Arthur nine, with her husband Kris Thykier, revealed the first page online, which included funny reviews from her kids.

She followed that yesterday, by sharing the last page.

“Feels only right to show you the last page too. @harpercollinsuk @hqstories,” the 48-year-old captioned her post, which she shared with her 543,000 followers.

The post shows a photograph of the writer profile, but instead of a portrait of Claudia, there was a picture of a baby goat.

Underneath her bio, it reads: “This is normally where a photo of the author would go but she thought a baby goat would simply be more enjoyable.”

Followers and fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the unusual photo selection.

“Does it use head & shoulder tho,”(sic) one Instagram user joked, referencing her famous shampoo adverts.

“Of course,” Claudia wittily replied.

“Excellent… I do feel one those highland cattle with massage fringes would have merged both concepts together,” another cheeky follower added.

A third fan added: “A baby goat is EVERYTHING. And watching them jump lifts the spirits,” to which the Strictly host responded: “Exactly.”

A fourth follower remarked: “I can not wait to read this book. We need a good laugh these days. Already the children’s reviews and this page are making me giggle!!!”

The day before she shared an image of the first page of the book, which is described as “a love letter to life”.

Ahead of it’s October 1 release, she wrote online: “It comes out in three days. Here’s the first page.”

The text on the opening page read: “Praise (sort of) for Quite. ’A book? Hahahahaha’ Tilda, 14. ’Seriously Mum, who’s going to read this?’ Jake, 17. ‘Can I highly recommend a David Walliams instead?’ Arthur, 8.”

“Hilarious. Nothing like family support,” TV star Nicki Chapman wrote in the comments section.

“Love your kids!” another follower added.
