Trend: Micellar Water
Who doesn't love micellar water? The concept is so simple, yet so effective.
It takes off make-up and cleanses skin at the same time, so no doubling up. Apply to eyes, face, neck and lips using a cotton pad – no rinsing required.

Laura Mercier is back on tap and one of our favourites is the Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation in Latte (mecca.com.au, $73), which hydrates while adding radiance and long-lasting coverage, with a shot of brightening vitamin C to boot.
When applying it, work from the centre of your face out using your favourite applicator – and remember to blend, blend, blend!

How can I apply mascara to make my eyes look brighter?
Apply one coat of blue mascara as an undercoat and then apply black mascara on top but leaveabout a quarter of the lash blue at the lash line. This will give your eyes a pop of colour and still delivering the depth of black to lashes.
This week I try … CoolSculpting

The lowdown I have a stubborn pocket of tummy fat, so I'm trying CoolSculpting – a non-surgical medical procedure that targets fat. Fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than surrounding tissue, and CoolSculpting delivers controlled cooling to eliminate them without risk to nerves, blood vessels or skin. The result is a gradual, long-term reduction of 25 per cent of the fat cells – especially good for troublesome bulges.
The applicator is attached to the targeted area, just below my navel. There is an odd tugging sensation as the area is sandwiched between the two plates of the applicator. The chill is quite intense; the area quickly numbs, then it's a matter of relaxing.
Downtime Sixty minutes.
Results Afterwards, the area is red, numb and protruding but the redness disappears in a day and the area flattens out over a few weeks.
