Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne was the special guest on today’s Loose Women.
The 66-year-old spoke openly and honestly about her life, including some dark times three years ago.
Mrs O said: “Three years ago, I had a very bad time in my life.
“I just thought, ‘I’m gonna bail, I can’t take it any more, I can’t take the pressure, it’s not me.'”
“My husband found me and took me to the hospital”
But thankfully, she was saved by her husband Ozzy, 70, who got her some help.
She explained: “My husband found me and took me to the hospital.”
Her co-stars – today Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore – asked about her children’s reaction.
And speaking of her three kids – Aimee, Jack and Kelly – Sharon said: “Yeah, they were terribly cross, heartbroken and frightened and everything that goes with it.”
But it was during her treatment that she was convinced never to go down that path again.
She told the Loose Women: “When I was in treatment, there were two girls whose mothers had committed suicide.
“The damage that was left for them, I would never do it again.”
Speaking of her life now, it seems Sharon is a natural grandmother.
Jack, 33, is father to three children with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly – Pearl, Andy Rose and Minnie Theodora.
Sharon said: “I teach them, because Jack and his ex-wife are like, ‘What did you eat? What did you do?’ and I say, ‘What goes on at nana’s stays at nana’s!'”
And speaking of daughter Aimee, who largely shuns the spotlight, she added: “Aimee’s good. She’s come over here with me, she’s really good.”
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
