“Shame on you Whoopi. Shame on you for putting that public opinion out there like that for every young girl to think that they’re disgusting for even taking a photo like that.”
Bella Thorne is furious with Whoopi Goldberg.
The actress backed out of a scheduled appearance on "The View" after the host claimed her nude photo leak was her own fault.
On Saturday Bella was forced to share semi-nude photos of herself after a hacker had attempted to ransom them.
But instead of being sympathetic, Whoopi blamed Bella for taking the pictures in the first place, insisting that no famous person — no matter what their age — should ever even take an intimate picture of themselves.
"If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude pictures of yourself," Whoopi said on the show. "Once you take that picture it goes into the cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that."
In response, Bella took to Instagram in floods of tears, slamming Whoopi for shaming her.

"I’m not gonna lie, I want to say I feel pretty disgusting, you know, I feel pretty disgusting, Whoopi, now that everyone’s seen my shit. I hope you’re so f–king happy," she said crying uncontrollably.
‘I can only imagine all the kids who have their s**t released and then they commit suicide. you’re so crazy for thinking such terrible things on such an awful situation.’
She said she no longer wanted to appear on "The View" because "I don’t really want to be beaten down by a bunch of older women for my body and my sexuality".
"I don’t really want you guys talking about your views to young girls because I would not want my daughter to learn that and I would never say that to her," she said, sobbing.
"Shame on you Whoopi. Shame on you for putting that public opinion out there like that for every young girl to think that they’re disgusting for even taking a photo like that. Shame on you."
She even likened her fellow actress’s stance to those who blame rape victims.
"Saying if you take a sexy photo then basically it deserves to get leaked like… don’t be surprised at all and don’t feel sorry for yourself," she said. "So if I go out to a party drinking and I want to go dancing on the dance floor… do I deserve to be raped too? because to me I see those two things as really f–king similar."
In an open note to Whoopi — ironically stored in Bella’s "iCloud" folder — Bella said she loved her for so long but was displeased and saddened by her reaction.
"Blaming girls for taking the photo in the first place? Is sick and honestly disgusting. So what a girl can’t send her boyfriend that she misses photos of her that are sexy? Thing’s he’s already seen?" she wrote.
"I as a woman should be so scared walking around my home, being on my phone, doing anything? Is that what you want our women to be like? Scared of the masses for their sexuality??" Is that what you want? I don’t."
"I’m offended for anyone who has ever taken a sexy photo. I am offended for Jennifer Lawrence who feels publicly raped. I am offended for every person who has committed suicide for someone leaking their nudes."
"Ur view on this matter is honestly awful and I hope u change ur mindset as u are on a show talking to young girls."
Earlier on Instagram, Bella called out her female fans for not standing in solidarity with her over her decision to leak the ransomed pics herself, claiming she had mainly only received support from male friends.
On Saturday, Bella shared the topless pics of herself, informing fans of the attempted blackmail.
"F–k u and the power u think you have over me. I’m gonna write about this in my next book," she wrote.
