Taking place at the Royal Albert Hall in London, A-List actresses hit the style mark as they graced the Baftas red carpet ahead of the ceremony.


Bohemian Rhapsody actress Lucy Boynton, 24, looked sensational in a stunning floor-length gown complete with lace bow detail.

With a feathered trim around the bodice, Lucy styled her short blonde hair in a half-up style and completed her glamorous look with a sweep of metallic eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

Along with supporting boyfriend Rami Malek, 37, in his Best Actor nomination, Lucy also stared in Bohemian Rhapsody which has also been nominated for six awards this evening – including Best British Film and Best Cinematography.

Meanwhile, presenter Laura Whitmore opted for a suitably stylish glittery grey gown with cut-out bra detailing.


The former Strictly contestant, 33, paired her breath-taking dress with matching grey hair slides and opted for bronzed make-up as she walked the red carpet.

Bringing the wow factor the glamorous occasion, fellow presenter and podcast host Maya Jama opted for a sexy black lace dress as she arrived at the ceremony.

The 24-year-old star – who has been dating rapper Stormzy since 2016 – showed off her legs with a daring thigh-high split.


Maya completed her showstopping red carpet look with a pair of black strappy heels and dazzling dangling earrings.

Also competing for best dressed star on the red carpet was A-List actress Amy Adams.

Leading the statement sleeve trend, the 44-year-old actress wore a figure-hugging belted burgundy dress with a glitzy black broach.

In keeping with her burgundy colour palette, the Sharp Objects actress accessorised with similar toned jewellery before completing her love with a sweep of metallic eyeshadow.




Also ahead in the style stakes was Poldark actress Eleanor Tomlinson.

Styling her hair in an elegant bun, the actress, 26, looked sensational in a pink asymmetric gown with pink bow shoulder detail.

Also competing for her spot in the style stakes was Claire Foy.

The former Crown actress chose a stunning strapless emerald green gown for tonight's red carpet affair.


The actress wore her hair out of her face and opted for minimal jewellery and a gorgeous berry lip.

Leading the tulle trend, Rachel Weisz, 48, oozed glamour as she arrived in a cream gown with netted, layered skirt.

Cinched in at the waist with a chic glittery silver belt, The Favourite actress paired her cream ball gown with a matching metallic clutch as she turned heads on the red carpet.





Green Book actress Linda Cardellini, 43, chose a stunning strapless pink gown with voluminous tulle skirt as she arrived in style.

Similarly, former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, 29, also opted for a breath-taking dress with tulle detail.

Sweeping her brown hair back into a bun, Millie looked sensational in a peach-toned gown with statement ruffles running over the shoulders.


And British beauty vlogger Niomi Smart, 23, may not have been nominated for any awards but the internet star certainly brought the glamour to the red carpet.

Opting for a statement bold lip, the Eat Smart cookbook author wore a show-stopping white silk dress with a beautiful orange and cream floral print.

Taking fashion notes from Maya Jama, actress Freya Mavor – who appeared in The ABC Murders – also stepped out in a revealing black lace gown.

Featuring a fitted bodice and see-through skirt, the former Skins star completed her look with black strappy heels and a slick of red lipstick.




Monochrome gowns were also back in a big way for tonight's awards following last year's Me Too protest.

Proving that bigger dresses really are better, Thandie Newton, 46, chose a floor-length gown with a geometric black-and-white pattern as she walked the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Olivia Colman, 45, looked effortlessly elegnant in a monochrome dress with white crepe top and sharp statement sleeves.
